Why is sanitary to cary around hand sanitizer?
Question:
Answers:
I carry hand wipes in the car- ALWAYS- after leaving the grocery store, etc.. I never used to before but when my daughter was a toddler, we never used them and she ended up getting a stomach virus- of course passed it to my husband who lost 2 days of work. I then realized hand washing was a must after leaving a public place. The sooner we could wipe our hands down the better- I get in the car, we all use wipes and I use the wipe for my steering wheel too.
When you leave any public place you should use SOMETHING to cleanse your hands and before you eat any meal- what grosses me out is to see people shoving a burger in their face while driving, the steering wheel is covered in germs and they are touching the burger and slopping it in their mouths as fast as they can, even licking their fingers-
If you knew or could see stomach virus germs, flu or cold germs on your hands or surfaces and could identify which each germ was, would you not use a sanitizer or wipe prior to shoving food in your mouth while driving or rubbing your eye?
People don't think about this which is why so many get sick.
Because its an option when you can't get to a sink and wash your hands (like at a petting zoo, or hiking in the woods). You don't want to eat with unwashed hands that have all kinds of germs on them, so using the hand sanitizer kills a lot of the germs that would be there if you didn't have it.
