Will differin help?

Question: i've tried everything. proactiv murad neutrogeina clean and clear and 50 more that i dont know the name of. i'm going to try cetaphil wash then differin gel at night. but i'm scared how bad my face will get and for HOW LONG?! i have not had clear skin since i was 10 now im 14. any advise?

Differn did not work for me in the long term. When i first started using it my pimples did get worse for about a whole month, then it started to clear up a bit. But overall after using it with Ovace face wash (very good face wash) it did not work long term for me, new pimples in fact even large pimples just kept appearing.

Then i switched to tazorac at nightwhile using my Ovace face wash and benzaclin in the morning. I took that for 2 years. Since i was using differn before i took the switch to tazorac there was no 'initial breakout' that happened. My skin became clear, less oily, and the only pimples that appeared were very small ones that dissapeared within a few days. My skin cleared completely in about 4 months since i used tazorac.

Since then i have stopped taking tazorac and benzaclin for the past 2 years and my oily skin dissapeared, and the only breakouts i get is from using my cell phone, on the side of my cheek.
