Physical conditions/problems which make it hard for elderly ppl to dress themselves?


Question:
What are some problems or conditions that older people might have which make them inable to dress themselves? such as arthritis, osteoporosis maybe, etc.

Answers:
Yes, those and any fractures/sprains. I am not sure if you are wanting this, but depression, Alzheimer's and well, just being elderly makes the body tired and unable to do things. Heart conditions can as well, if they have congestive heart failure it can make them get out of breath just bending over. I have worked with the elderly for almost 20 years so just about any ailments you have can be VERY crippling on the elderly. Think about your organs being 80-100 years old, they get tired from working so hard for all those years!!
