This is probably a dumb question,but can sleeping in a bra cause breast cancer?

Question:

It's something my mother has told me since I hit puberty and with a history of it in my family it's unnerving to hear.I usually dismiss things that seem that silly but it bothers me.Can anyone shed any light on this?

NO. Just like using deodorant will not plug up your armpits and somehow cause breastcancer. theres an article on yahoo home page that gives you 12 myths of cancer. this is one of them. the only thing sleeping in a bra will do is be uncomfortable.
