Bladder INfection?
Question:
Answers:
are you taking antibiotics for it? leviquin will clear it up in 3 days, other antibiotics take 7-10 days to complete your medication dosage. Did they do a UA on you or a culture or both? was there blood in the urine? key-tones? did they explain it to you some? Peridium is usually given for bladder pain and Valium for bladder spasms, macrodantin is another for UTI's. I have chronic bladder problems of the worse kind, (operations one), but part of my disease is frequent UTI's, patients of my nature have to take medication all the time. Symptoms may pass after a couple of days but complete what ever medications they gave you, even if you feel better, if it is antibiotics. Go to the bathroom if you feel you have to go, just don't strain. Drink plenty of water! You probably have another day or two before you start feeling yourself again. Good luck

It depends on the severity of the infection. Some need repeated treatments others are cleared up in 10 days or so.

if the doctor didn't prescribe uristat you can go to the drug store and get it. it helps a lot with the pain and feeling of having to go pee. it makes your urine really orange but it works great.
