lol, you said 'poop'...
But seriously, Ive been going to the doctor for the last couple months trying to figure out whats goin on with me. Ive had the same kind of thing happening to me for the last couple of years and you might have a form of IBS or a spastic colon. He prescribed me this medicene that helps with that urge and with cramps. You might be lactose intolerent or if you drink a lot of caffeine or possible if you stress alot, these could also be reasons of it too. Try and figure out what it might be with your diet and if you cant figure out what that might be, then I would go to the doctor.
Macaroni & cheese.

There are some strategies you can use to hold on to the food longer, giving you more time to digest and absorb:
1) If you eat meat, then try eating steak or chops instead of anything ground (like hamburger). It will take your stomach longer to break it up into digestible/absorbable form.
2) Try some olive oil (just a small amount, less than a teaspoon) before eating. There is a chance that it will just go right through, so this may not work. But if it does, it will trigger some brakes in your intestine to slow things down. Anything you eat in the next half hour or so should be better absorbed, so less pooping.
3) Eat small amounts spread out through the day. The more you put in your stomach at once, the faster it might move.
4) Don't drink anything with your meals. Get your drinking done before a meal, or an hour after your meal. The more liquidy everything in your stomach is, the faster it will move.
5) Eat a small meal, then lie on your left side for about 1/2 hour. This will keep the food in your stomach longer instead of allowing it all to dump out and move through your intestine.
6) Combine any of these approaches.
