My fiance won't stop obsessing over some bumbs on his penis. He has been to the doc numerous times, had blood tests etc. they tell him he is fine. Well now he has little white head looking things in the crease of his leg like in his groin and once again is obsessing over it. He is going to the doc today, but I wanted to know if anyone knows if its possible for the doc to miss herpes with a blood test? is that how they test for it? because I mean wouldn't the doctor have known before if that was what it was? He says it can stay dormant for years and hes worried he has had herpes for like 4years and not known it. I keep telling him he is fine, but should i be worried?

Doctors can mis-diagnose or overlook anything. My friend had a chkn pox vaccination when he was younger and the doctor said a light break out was just acne. 2 weeks later his whole house had chkn pox.
He should definitely get a second opinion and a full examination.
