What kind of breast rash do i have?
Question:
Answers:
It might be yeast... babies get this a lot in the little folds of their baby fat.
I would initially say heat rash... but that should have gone away with Gold Bond.
It could also be fungal (like athlete's foot).
The problem here is that if it's a fungus, and you treat it like a yeast, it will get worse. And same is true if it's a yeast and you treat it like a fungus.
That being said, you should make an appointment with your doctor to figure out which you have, so you can treat it with over the counter stuff.
Lotrimin AF or any other athlete's foot treatment will help if it's fungal, and any yeast infection cream will help if it's yeast.
sounds like it's heat rash, but some other things to consider - are you using a new soap? laundry soap? perfume/cologne? any of those things could be doing it too. the Gold Bond powder is great stuff, just be sure you're completely dried off when you put it on.
It could possible be a fungus infection-it thrives in warm areas-especially if you are well endowed.
Wash with warm salty water and use an anti fungal cream such as nystatin or nystatiform HC and an anti fungal powder.
It usually is thrush-monilia.
You do not say how old you are- it maybe worth having your urine checked for sugar.Occasionally diabetes type 2 can present in this way
You might actually be spreading the rash with the powders and creams. Could it be that you are allergic to something? Do you have any other symtoms? I would try taking the Benadryl over the counter medicine to get rid of the rash. Calamine lotion might help if it is poison ivy or something of that nature. It could also just be a heat rash given the location and the season. Wearing a different bra or washing that area more frequently might help too. If you don't start seeing a reduction of the rash, go see your doctor immediately.
