After a relapse with ms and having steriods does it make u feel like u had a relapse and not sleep?

Question:

Answers:
In short, YES! very common to have insomnia, paricularly with IV steroids, you can have a sort of energy rush and feel like Superwoman/man - just remember that you're not!, these are very strong drugs and IV get into your system very quickly however it can be a few weeks before there is any noticable effect on a relapse, they just speed up the recovery time. Take care and remember to rest and allow yourself time to adjust tho them.
Well when my wife has had a relapse and has had steroids, she says she feels bloody wonderful but tired. but it depends on how severe the relapse is.
I can't answer the ms part, but hubby has steroids as part of his chemotherapy. He is regularly told to take dose 1 first thing, dose 2 early afternoon...and none after 4pm - because they will stop him sleeping.

Hope you get some sleep soon!
