43 years old with slight numbness left side of face, left arm and pinky only. in my bicep it sometimes hurts?

Question:

In my left arm (bicep) sometimes it feels like somone hit me real hard and after I take Ibuprofin it goes away, the pain but not the numbness. Sometimes when I have the pain in the arm it then goes to the left side of the chest only. I have had a CT scan of the brain and an eye examinatin. They say everything is normal. What would be my next step to take?

well, if the ct scan says everythign is alright, thats good. however, what i think you should do is get an appointment with another doctor and tell him to give you a referral for a specialist (if that other doctor doesnt know what it is), i believe since it looks like it is something with your nerve functions you would have to check it out with the neurologist. good luck.

check your heart. some symptoms sound like a small heart attack.but i could be wrong...just check your hear if its in your chest

i assme your heart has been looked at and stroke has been ruled out, if so I'd say you have some nerve damage...try exercising with weights...sometime si fyou build some muscle mass it'll protect the nerves and allow them to heal...good luck

Sheesh, how is your heart? Hopefully your numbness is only nerve related. I have heard of the face symptom for nerve issues but not the arm, pinky and pain in chest. That makes me worry about your heart.

Sounds as if you have experienced a blood clot in the right side of your brain. A stoke, is what it might have been. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. Or visit a clinic. That's a serious condition.

I'm so not a doctor, but you could have a pinched nerve. But, it could also be something more serious, so you really should talk to them and tell them you think something is seriously wrong.
