I just started using acne wash for the first time and my face feels weird and tight! It hurts when I touch it, rub it, and open my mouth too wide. I started using it 2 days ago. Did I rub too hard? Is this what it feels like when you rub too hard?

some acne washes have stuff in them that dries out your face. it may just be that your skin is now dry and sensitive. it could also just be sensitive to the product. you could try some oil free moisturizer if you think your face feels dry.
Maybe it's too harsh for your face. I'm fair and most of those types of washes burned my skin. Thank god my face finally cleared up, but plain old uncented neutrogena bar (in the black and white box) was the only thing mild enough for my face. I still use it.
