My cousin is havin brain surgery help?
Question:
Answers:
Much depends on what type of brain tumor she has, location of the lesion, whether there are more than one, your cousins overall health and age. Many people have brain surgery done successfully. But again, it depends . . . No one here can answer about her chances for survival, since there are too many factors.
However, keep in mind that Lance Armstrong had two metastatic brain tumors and had surgery that removed them. That was ten years ago.

any surgury can kill but then it can also make her live, its a crapshoot with that calling.
I'd say if she is having it, she is probably better off the NOT having it, so who ever dicided on her surgury KNOWS what best for her.
No. Shouldn't kill her. I had a brain aneurysm clipped last year.
What is she having done?
Work on the brain is delicate, and recovery is long, can be hard.
Doctors wouldn't perform a surgery that they thought would kill her. There are always risks with surgery, but I'm sure the benefits outweight the risks in a situation like that.
My husband had brain surgery twice to remove brain tumors. Any surgery can kill you. Not just brain surgery. She can also be different after the surgery as far as her personality and maybe some effects. Ask the doctor what his thoughts are on the surgery she is having done.No one knows how brain surgery will go until it is over. Wishing your cousin the best for her surgery.
