first of all this has been going on for a long time. like over a year. my nasal passages swell bad enough that i can't breathe through my nose. expecially when i lie down. i can't afford to go to the dr. and i have tried all the over the counter meds. the only thing that helps is nasal spray. can anyone help me? what could be wrong?

If it has been happening for over a year then no it probably isn't a sinus infection,
you probably are over using nasal spray first it can be addictive and when you try to stop using it your membranes in your nose will swell almost shut, a doctor wont do anything for it if that happens except till you to stay off the nasal spray till the side effects stop,
another thing could be allergies
or possible mold in your house some where,
Fist stop the spray
and take Benadryl allergy and see if you start feeling better if this doesn't work then go to the doctor.
