Question:
Please give me anwser my puppy buddy has parvo and i found to today and i'm really sad please help me!

Answers:
I actually had 3 dogs that got parvo in July. One died and the other two survived. The one that died, I gave it back to the shelter to treat because it was under 7 days so they had to treat him. The other 2 I took to my own vet and they made it but that's because I caught it early and had them admitted to the hospital.

I hope your puppy is getting some kind of treatment perferrably at a hospital. Sadly, dogs that have parvo that go untreated have a very very low survival rate.

I hope your puppy is ok
yes, actually I've had two dogs who have had parvo and survived. They were both Great Pyrenees. The first one we gave back to it's owners because we thought it would die, but we found out that it ended up living. And then our other one we kept, and he lived for a long time.
So there's a good chance. : )
Parvo is treatable. I had a dog who had parvo before he was a year old and before I adopted him from a shelter. He not only recovered enough to be fit for adoption, he lived 13 years more.
i have a dog now that i got from the puond and got sick two days after i got home we took her to the vet and the told us she had parvo and that if we did not put her thourgh all of there tests and iv drip she whould die but we did not have the money and i did not whant to put her thought that so we took her home gave her water and liver we had that know one was going to eat and cookied it up for her she felt better a few days later and just had her second birthday, where not sure why but she got over it we found out later some dogs do get better, with the right care.
My puppy contracted parvo days after we got her. Turned out the previous renters of this house had a dog that had it and the yard wasn't treated.

She was really bad sick for about a week or so. We had her hospitalized for three days and nights I do believe. She pulled through with the proper i.v treatments there and the meds we gave her after wards.

Your dog has a really good chance of pulling through if he's a mixed breeds. Pure breeds can be a little more tricky. But the odds are in your favor if you got them to the vet in time.

I know its going to be stressful, but hopefully your puppy will pull through.
It is treatable if the dog has not been sick for weeks with the disease.. Then the chances lesson, The vet will put them thru iv drips, antibiotics, and different things along them lines, it can be a bit costly so be prepared. If you would have started him on his puppy shots at 6 wks of age, this may have been avoided. Parvovirus shuts down all internal organs slowly, dogs vomit, wont eat, and have diarrhea, sometimes with blood in it. And it has a very distinguishing smell to it. Get him in as soon as you can so they can start treatment. I would really hate to see you lose your little buddy .. Best of luck hun
