Hiv obsessed please help?
Question:
i have a swollen lymphnode and we had unprotected sex for about 5minutes before we put a condom on but i was sure of it he got tested but now im worried maybe he lied? its just this one guy im worried about ive never had unprotected sex before this.
id rather not get retested what are the chances of contracting it hypothetically if he was positive? do u get hiv every single time? please i need to put my mind at ease but i dont want to go through getting tested again he said he did.

Your inflammed lymph node might be due to seasonal infection but still when at doubt it is better to get checked by a professional.

It's possible. The test for antibodies is not that conclusive. It takes about two weeks for the initial cells to be destroyed. It's possible to only have antibodies present at certain times.
Doctors are not always right. Really try to put your mind at ease and be in touch with your inner self.

First off, the HIV infection rate and people living with HIV in the U.S is .60%, that is about 900,000 people out of 300 mil. The majority of people living with HIV are gay. More than likely you have not contracted HIV, your boyfriend does not have HIV unless your bf has been promscious with other men or prostitutes. Go get tested at a different clinic, they even have free anonymous ones. Its really not embarrassing and the ppl testing you see dozens of ppl everyday so to them you are just another person, but I really doubt you have HIV, its one of the hardest STDS to catch but you still need to be careful
