The most recent info the CDC has is for 2005. In 2005, 23,305 cases of Lyme disease were reported yielding a national average of 7.9 cases for every 100,000 persons. In the ten states where Lyme disease is most common, the average was 31.6 cases for every 100,000 persons.
lots, but it depends where you live.the NY metro area is very bad, colder climates have less of it.
A lot of people are misdiagnosed. Its much more prevalent in some areas like New England.
