Answers:
I have Lyme disease. I find this question very interesting. The tick carries a bacteria. logically I think if it was killed in your stomach acid and further through the rest of your digestive system ,it could be possible the tick could release the bacteria into your symptoms. My advise is to go to the Lyme foundation website and look at the symptoms. If you manifest ANY of the symptoms go have blood drawn for a test for the bacteria. Catch it early, PLEASE.
I amnot 100% because you normally get it from a bite.
how in the hell do you accidentally eat a tick
You're saying that you ate a tick! How do you know that you ate the thing?
I have no clue, maybe you should call you doctor.
Only if the tick lodges into your mouth or espohagus. It would most likely be destroyed by stomach acid once it reaches your stomach.
Lyme disease is very very serious, if you think you have it you should get to a doctor as soon as possible.
I would be concerned.
If you "eat a tick", your saliva and the hydrochloric acid in your stomach would destroy it. Also, if you're already on antibiotics for Lyme's, then it doesn't matter anyway.
No, because the idiot who discovered Lyme disease managed to get it defined so that you have to see the tick biting you, you have to see the circular rings of infection damage on the skin and you have to test positive. According to him and CDC, Lyme is easy to cure with a couple of weeks of antibiotics and if you didn't see the signs, it is not Lyme (and doesn't get counted by the CDC) and there are no long term consequences and anybody who says they have long term is perhaps psychotic and doctors who treat "long term Lyme Disease" should be disbarred.
