There are lots of ways to raise funds for cancer. You have the world available to you thru the internet. Try typing in fundraisers. Also, try going to the web site for cancer. They have programs, you can volunteer to help in a lot of things. Go for it and do your part honey. I do the Relay for Life and we sell stuff all year long. It's fun and satisfying. We sell popsicles at the school where my daughter works. We made over $1000 doing that. We have a fall festival. We sell Valentine day baskets with a small amount of candy and a stuffed animal in it. Lots of things. We raffle things off. There is so much more but can't remember all that we do. Good luck.
have a car wash or a race in her honer. maybe a yard sale with a donation can. put a donation can at every place you know. ask them first explain what it is for and usually business owners will be happy to help you.God bless you and her and I hope this helps.

Cancer is doing just fine raising money on its own.
Have a scrapbooking event/crop. See if you can rent an inexpensive hall (possibly donated for the day). 99.9% of scrapbookers have the stuff they need, So you'll only need a couple of vendors (who can donate for door prizes and their fee). You can probably get places like Pappa John's pizza to donate food for lunch. Charge like $25.00 (the average in my area) Find ways of advertising for FREE!!!!
Ask your church if you can use their banquet hall..
when my dad had this type of cancer brain and tumors he did not live through the operation, my brothers two of them got it in the blood system one was around a year ago no saving them, to my knowledge their was never a fund set up for them if their was family never received it. My daughter passed with clots in her legs again if any funds were set up her daughter never received it those are the reasons that people are stopping those donations they just do not go for the persons that it is meant to go to.
Join the relay for life foundation. You can then start your own group or join a group that is already in existance. They will have great ideas o how to raise money. Its much easier as a group to do this! My wife and I have been members for 3 years now. Last year we raised $4,700 !!
