Testical cancer?
Question:
Answers:
There is no patient prep for a testicular ultrasound. For abdominal (liver, gallbladder, kidney) ultrasound, we do ask a patient to be NPO prior to the exam. This is because intestinal gas can interfer with those exams. The intestines are not located in the scrotum, so intestinal gas is not an issue in your case. Best wishes..
"No special preparation is needed for a testicular ultrasound."
