Testical cancer?

Question:
i am having a ultrasound scan on my genitals on monday, and i wanted to know if i need to fast of any kind. like only drink ffor 24 hours prior to my scan

Answers:
There is no patient prep for a testicular ultrasound. For abdominal (liver, gallbladder, kidney) ultrasound, we do ask a patient to be NPO prior to the exam. This is because intestinal gas can interfer with those exams. The intestines are not located in the scrotum, so intestinal gas is not an issue in your case. Best wishes..

"No special preparation is needed for a testicular ultrasound."

No, you don't have to fast. Fasting is required only when you're having blood samples taken.
no
If they didn't tell you anything then no need.
They would have instructed you to fast if it were necessary.
