What SHOULD I eat to lower my triglyceride levels?

Question:
Triglyceride level is 1647... I should be dead already, right?? - was immediately put on medication; need to know what to eat; NOT what not to eat.

Answers:
Wow mine was in the 900s I bow before you. Eat flax especially milled flax. You can get it at most grocieries. You can buy whole flax and mill it in a coffee mill or you can eat it whole but you don't get as much of the Omega 3 and Omega 6. Eat fish but be careful as fish has heavy metal (mercury etc). Exercise helps some but if you cholesteral is normal usually you have a genetic condition.

You can take niacin if you can handle it, it make you skin itch. And the doctor can give you drugs.

My family has high Tri and we live into out 90s so I think they're selling a bag of goods with those drugs. one size does not fit all you have to look at you family history to decide if you think the effort is appropriate for you particular condition.
low cal, low sugar. high fiber.

Start doing moderate exercise to burn up those sugars.
