FROM THE 99 cent menu at MCDONALD...
acne is caused by bacteria inserting themselves in skin's pores. Typically they feed off of the body's natural oils.
from excess oil and dirt, plus hormones.
or from eating really bad food like mcDonalds.
The most common form of acne (Acne Vulgaris) is caused when your skin creates the right conditions for a certain bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes to grow. Your 'sebaceous glands' are located in your skin and they secrete oil. During puberty especially, these glands can secrete so much oil that they block up the pores in your skin, creating a sort of stagnant environment for these bacteria to grow and multiply. In response, your skin becomes inflamed to try to get rid of the bacteria, which is what creates the lesions, or red marks, on the skin.

Hope this helps.
