What would happen if a nose infection wasn't treated?

Question:

Answers:
Most of these are staphylococcal. In the majority of cases the body's defence systems would probably cope and the bacterium would be overcome. However there would be a risk of systemic spread which could theoretically lead to septicaemia and potentially death. Soft tissue infections like this were often fatal in the days before antibiotics. These days we are generally stronger and fitter, as far as our immune systems are concerned, than 100 years ago, and the effects would generally be less devastating.
It will probably turn green and fall off. duh!
What type of an infection? a runny nose? It will usually go away on it's own.
An ulcer in or on the nose? It should be treated with antibiotics if it's infected.
What type of an infection?
it can kill you
unpleasantly
it could cause it to rot and then fall off.
Well you ever hear eye, ear, nose and throat? They are all connected. you noise infection coud go to you throat or any of the other ares I mentioned
Most of the time it goes away on its own anyway. But in a small percentage of cases serious side effects can develop. Since there isn't much distance between the sinuses and the brain, the infection could spread there. Or the tissue in the sinuses could become damaged and require surgical repair. See a doctor and take the antibiotics.

Your nose will slowly turn various shades of blue - this is your body warning you to act quickly! When your nose turns Cerulean Blue (Rangers Blue), you should prepare for the worst.

You will no longer be admitted into Parkhead.

After this, your nose will begin to throb and pulsate in a disturbing manner. Green ooze smelling vaguely of cats and wet socks will emerge from orange boils the size of a ten pence peice. Your nose will look like a peice of modern art (blue green and orange are all the rage with the Modern Art Students).

If you dont want to be considered a walking Art Exhibition, I suggest you purchase a brown paper bag and place it over your head. When the ooze fills the bag and dribbles over passing pedestrians/ dogs, I suggest you consult my book, listed below.
Any thing between it will clear up and go away on its own , to you die of septicaemia.
