Can someone have fibromyalgia without having morning stiffness and fatigue?

Question:

Answers:
The answer is yes. I have fibromyalgia and with all the changes I have made in my life I am usually able to wake up without too much stiffness. I always have the fatigue though. I still have fibro, have just made a bit of headway in my quest for better health. The only things I can not control are the weather and stress. If I could figure those out I would be a very rich woman! LOL
Fibro is so different for each individual, so yes, you can have fibro without morning stiffness and fatigue. There may be days you feel like you simply cannot get out of bed and days you feel totally energized.

Some people find days when even clothing hurts or having someone lay a hand on their arm. Part of the reason fibro is so difficult for doctors to diagnose is they have to eliminate a lot of things before they come up with the diagnosis. I would speak with a doctor who is "sensitive" to the disease as many still think it is "in one's head". There are ways to help make you more comfortable and your life livable. I teach warm water therapy and many of the people who come to my classes find the warm water to help. They especially find water yoga and ai chi relaxing and helpful. Meditation can help as well as acupuncture. You may have to look outside of the box of medical care.

Good luck and feel better. Know you are not alone. Seek out a support group that is not a pity fest, but where you can get good information on how to live a better life.
If you or someone you know has that condition, it was obviously diagnosed by a physician. He/she didn't tell you the answer to that question? If not, get another doctor. The short answer to your question is yes. You can cure this condition by going on what's known as the Candida Diet. Go to a health food store. They will know exactly what the Candida diet consists of.
Please read what Diane D said.. as that is all so true

What the person below her said.. the problem with that is (1) so many times we forget to ask our docs all of the quesitons that we have (2) no doctor knows all there is to know about this disease because it is so incredible different for that that suffer from it

When I was in my early 20s & diagnosed (back then it was called Fibromytosis) I didn't have morning stiffness & the fatigue wasn't nearly so bad

As I aged, both of those thigns as well as a bunch of stuff got MUCH, MUCH Worse

things like this are often discussed in on-line support groups:

I have plenty of friend from my online support group and I can honestly tell you that each and everyone of them that have this disorder will tell you that they have morning stiffness and extreme fatigue and sometimes the stiffness isn't just confined to the mornings and the fatigue can be overwhelming and last for days if they are in a bad flare.
