You should go back to your primary care physician and get a referral to a neurologist. If they don't find something, then try a psychiatrist.

Do you feel anxious? If not you probably don't have anxiety (other than worrying about your lightheadedness and numb hands!) Sounds like a cheap copout diagnosis to me. There has to be a reason for these other problems. May be a long shot but talk to a Chiropractor who does upper cervical work (google it). They can help you with the other problems, which may be coincidental to your anxiety.
my mom tells me during the school year that i don't sleep because of anxiety and during the summer its because I go out more but I have that same problem.
I tend to hallucinate at night and see things (not sleeping) and my hands and arms sometimes go completely numb. Go to a better doctor, one that specializes in these type of things because I am pretty sure it is not anxiety, esp. with the numbness.
If you're having anxiety attacks and are hyper-ventilating, that would definitely create light headedness, tingling and numb sensations. Do you think that's what might be going on? I used to get panic attacks in my twenties and it was almost debilitating until I started taking some meds- then, my life improved immensely. I hope you feel better soon...
if you hae had that many doctors tel you you have aniexty then you should be at specialist and get the meds for this. are you now? if not get the doctor to send you and go right now.
