Living near a nature reserve with a flooded marshy area, we get a lot of mosquitos and we are frequently bitten by them.Not much you can do except keep the windows shut at night when they seem to come in.
Definitely! In Barking, Essex we must have ben near some marshland as a very noisy mosquito prevented me from sleeping and seriously bit us. Also in a general store selling tropical fruit and veg a tiny insect gave me a very painful sting.
