You can call your drug store and ask the pharmacist if you have any questions about what you can or can not take while you are taking a prescribed medicine. You can also ask if it is okay to drink while taking this...I have done this several times and they always answer and are very nice.

Best thing to do is stay away from alcohol--drink lots of water and you know what--the prescription came with directions on what you can and can't do--you're taking this medication for a reason--to fix a problem--not make it last longer.
Although alcohol is contraindicated while taking certain antibiotics (and other medications), it is not listed as a contraindication while taking Keflex. As always, drink in moderation :)
Alcohol prevents antibiotics from beig able to to their job. Wait until you are fininshed with the antibiotics.

I was always taught that the consumption of alcohol while taking antibiotics will less the effect of the medication!
ok now listen for a minute ok? i don;t know why you are on keflex, but it is a serious antibiotic, do you need to drink that bad that inevitably it will lower you immunity more, and yours is low as your lymphnodes being swollen is a sign of something very serious going on in your body right now and i know you know that becuase you are on antibiotics for something so NO YOU CAN;T DRINK WHILE ON KEFLEX AND WHILE YOUR LYMPHNODES ARE SWOLLEN,!!!!11 you are going to make yourself way sicker and the dose you took you might as well have thrown it in the garbage because alcohol lowers the effectiveness of the antibiotic when you drink so really , what you should be doing instead of thinking about partying, is smarten up and crawl into bed and watch a good movie!!!1 make a cup of tea or have a big glass of ice water and STAY THERE!! WHAT EVER IT IS YOU HAVE IS PRETTY SERIOUS REALLY.
