Does anyone know why you should not get jewel-weed in your eyes.?

Question:
I use jewel-weed to counteract the effects of poison ivy. On the package it says not to get it in your eyes but doesn't say why or what to do if you do. Anyone know why or what to do if you do get it in your eyes?

Answers:
it's just a generic warning. They've never tested it in a controlled experiment to see what the effects of getting it in your eyes is. I would just rinse it with water like you would if you got shampoo or something else.
