Herpes spreads through oral sex?

Question:
Hey guys, I posted a question about this before i knew details, so here i go now with a little more to go by!

I am friends with a very attractive sweet girl, she has herpes, and her doctor told her that she has herpes. He also told her that she only has herpes in her crotch region.

Now she really wants to give me oral sex, she even agreed to give it to me with a condom on. She is very honest, and has told me about the herpes since day one. I just wanna be 110% sure that if she has herpes in her crotch she cant give it to me through giving me head??

please i hope i get some knowledgable answers. and THANKS in advanced!!

AJ

Answers:
No, if she only has herpes down below there is absolutely no chance whatsoever she can give you herpes through oral sex.

But 80% of other girls have oral herpes aka cold sores/fever blisters and they can all give you genital herpes through giving you oral sex, so be careful. They don't even need to have a sore at the time or know they get cold sores, or have had one for years. That is how I got genital herpes. It is just as infectious orally as down below and you are as likely to get gential herpes from a partner with cold sores as one with genital herpes.

Having herpes does not mean you have 'slept around' or been 'very active'. I haven't. Virgins can get herpes. I got it from my first boyfriend and I didn't catch it form intercourse. It doesn't mean someone is more likely to have other things.

To one of the other posters - hsv1 'oral herpes becomes genital herpes when it is on your genitals. You don't have oral herpes on your genitals. Oral itself means of the mouth. Genital means of the genitals so work it out.
AJ,

cool girl, very honest. Your answer is this: from strict oral sex on her part, and even if she works her hands in, there is NO risk whatsoever. Enjoy the fun. Your only caution is this: she can NOT be touching herself in the genitals and then you, that'd be a major no no.
She better be worth the chance bro. But here you if she has herpes below she can only give it to you if your give her head, but heres the catch if she was with a guy who went down on her and he kissed her she could have it in the form of a cold sore which could lead to herpes for you. As long as you wear a rubber your good to go. Happy bjs to you.
She isn't going to give you genital herpes by giving you oral sex. But...if she has oral herpes which is about 70% of the population she could give you oral herpes on your penis by giving you oral sex.

You can get herpes from having sex with her even with a condom on.

Why risk your health with someone you are not married to. Chances are, eventually you'll catch it, then you've got it for life and somewhere down the road you'll give it to your future wife. Then when she gets pregnant you'll have to worry about passing it on to your children.

Why mess with all that. If you aren't going to marry this girl, stop having sex. The outbreaks are painful and you never know when you are going to get one. My hubby gave the virus to me, I didn't know he had it as he said he was STD free. Now I get outbreaks and he doesn't. It sucks.
ehy would she lie to you about having it in her mouth if she told you about her having it down stairs? just sit back and take it like a man
