I'm getting Acne?

The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser and warming facial scrub every morning. And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
Those two are actually the ones that work best for me.
However, chances are, you're a teenager. You're going to get it.
It's not much to freak out about.
practive helps and there is a face wash called NOXIMA try it. anl lay off eating alot os candy and soda. also drinking alot of water helps
Clean and Clear Exfoliator. It'll make your pimples fade quicker cuz it remove the dead skin.
My daughter is 13, and the only thing that works for her is Proactiv. We tried the generic ones from Wal Mart but they did not work. Spend the money, it is so worth every penny. I am telling you she was covered in zits, but withing a week they are almost all gone.
ur supposed to switch products every six months so that ur skin doesnt build an immunity to the product ur using but ive been using PROACTIV for almost two years now and its amazing! i get mine at a stand at the mall every two months but i guess you can also get it by mail order. btw dont forget that the little things help also like a healthy diet, lots of water, only touch ur face when u absolutely need too and dont eat much in the way of sugar...hope this helps and good luck! :D
Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel works the best for me! I also use the Blemish Control Toner along with TimeWise Cleanser for combonation/oily skin.
Let me know if you need a consultant.
proactive did not work for me. however considering you can return it if it doesn't work it might be worth a try.
you should be sure to rotate the products you are using as week by week you may need different strengths of products and because you can build up immunity.
the main things to remember looking for products is SALICYLIC ACID and BENZOL PEROXIDE these two ingredients are the most important.
you need a face wash, scrub, astringent, a mask, and a spot gel.
your face wash should contain a low percentage of salicylic acid (~1%) products: garner, vichy, neutrogena
scrub: st ives is good, or the clean and clear scrub. however any scrub should be fine as long as it says either for acne, oily, black heads etc.
astringent: you want salicylic acid, choose the product based on the %. if you acne is minor choose ~1% increasing % by how bad acne is. the best you will find is 5%. often labeled for blackheads. neutrogena and clean and clear have good ones however brand doesn't really matter.
mask: these are hard to find. i use the proactive one but you can get them from other brands. you want a sulfur mask.
spot treatment: anything with benzol peroxide. read all the ingredients and find one with 4-5%. i always found the ones with obscure brands had higher %.
you should use the face wash 2x a day
astringent once at night
spot cleaner once at night
mask once or twice a week.
scrub 2 or 3 times a week
if your skin is getting overly dry replace face wash with gentle cleanser. or use lower % of salicylic acid in astringent.
if this does not work see you doctor and get a prescription.
Serious Skin Care has good acne creams. they work really well to help get rid of acne.
Im an african american and i use black opal but try cearasil ultra
i have used proactiv. and i does work but your really have to be committed to it 2 times at least very day.
to be honest im too lazy to do that so i just recently ( about a week ago ) started takin natures cure pills and just washin my face twice a day with biores pore unclogging scrub. and i already see really good results.
so those are my two ways.
