ive got one whiteish sore at the back of my mouth and then i prod it white stuff comes out, it goes then i wait a few minutes and the white stuff comes back...dosent sting or anything but just a bit worried any ideas?

Probably not.
Thrush usually involves the tongue, even though it can involve rest of the mouth. It is a white layer of fungus infection, usually due to steroid use, antibiotics use, or being a diabetic.
What you are describing can be from bacterial infection such as strep throat. Some people can also have white smelly stuff in the back of throat due to presence of small pockets to allow bacteria to grow and ferment undigested/unswallowed food particles.
J is absolutely correct, however, I must add that you go to your health care practitioner and get it cultured. You more than likely need anti-biotics!
