Okay so i need help with woman problem?

Question:
does the treatment for chlamidia also clear up any P.I.D?

Answers:
Meds used to clear up Chlamydia and Pelvic inflammatory disease are different. If you think you have PID then talk to your doctor (if you haven't already)
The treatment is different. With Chlamydia is through pills but if you have both you will get a shot for the PID. If you have either for too long it can cause you to become sterile or to have more infections build up.
If you treated chlamydia sooner, it's possible that you dont have PID. But you must go for a check up for PID because you know already that its possible to be infertility.
They will precribe you doxycyline as one of the medications, you have to take it until you are completely treated.
Personally I wouldnt mind the infertility but person who is PID infected can easily get HIV. And that's a good reason for you to make a test for PID. scarrryy!
I don't think so. But if you have been diagnosed with chlamydia then they would of found the PID any way, so they should treat both. But if your unsure get checked out again, better to be safe than sorry.
