Make an appointment to see another doc at the surgery, and ask for a second opinion. Why do you think its cancer anyway? Are you more qualified to know than your doc is?
doctors are ultra cautious regarding the possibility of skin cancer because of the rapid increase over the past 10 years. if he had any doubt I am sure that you would have been referred.
What makes you think that it is skin cancer? has it changed,got bigger,itched,bled,changed in size,become irregular or pigmentation.If it has does your doctor know.
If you are still unhappy see another doctor in the practise-often there is one who has a particular interest in dermatology
