Dairy Allergy and eye rashes?

Question:

I was diagnosed with dairy, soy, and tree nut allergies almost a year ago. At first, when eating any (mostly dairy) of these allergens, I would get extremely sick. I took them out of my diet completely and felt much better.
I started eating bits of dairy for a little while (big mistake) and soon after I got a white sort of rash around my eyes. They were sore and pretty gross looking. I discontinued eating dairy again and it went away.

Does anyone know if an allergy can go from getting sick to getting rashes?

Yes, you can get drainage in your eye from allergies that can make the eye get irritated, which then can lead to infection if bacteria gets in there.

Definitely-Allergies can be anything from sneezing, stomach ache, diarhea, constipation, vomiting, rash, runny nose, watery eyes. I feel for you because my 2 year old son is also severly allergic to milk. We learned to read labels pretty quick. its kinda hard though when you are allergic to soy too. Keep some Benadryl handy.
