Have you ever heard of a lie bump? It sounds something like that. I am not sure how you get them, but I get them sometimes. Depending on the size sometimes you can just pop them and they will just be gone. I have gotten a few that I popped and they didn't go away for awhile. So try popping it and gargaling with mouth wash. I'd say try this every 2-3 hours for 24 hours. If you don't see any improvement than go see a doctor.

sounds like an abscess to me you should see your doctor some antibiotics should clear it right up.
