A rash like poison ivy?

Question:
I thought I had poison ivy, but the rash keeps spreading as soon as the dr's office opens I'm making appt., but does anyone know what it might be?

Answers:
That's exactly how poison ivy acts. A lot of people say to use bleach, but that can damage your skin too. Your doctor will probably prescribe prednisone which should help and if not, take benedryl or claritin to ease the discomfort and use a drying agent like calamine or coloidal oatmeal (Aveeno) to help dry up the blisters.

Good luck!
Poison Ivy will spread. Gently wash the affected area with Clorox bleach on a cotton swab, let dry, then wash with water.
