Um, wash quick! It spreads everywhere you touch!!
Try an oatmeal bath. Tie up some oatmeal in a cheesecloth (or else you'll wind up picking it out of the drain) and soak in warm oatmeal juice. I don't know but cortisone cream might help, too.

try putting cream or something on it and then wrap it in some sort of bandage to keep it from touching anything else
What works best for me is acetone. I put it on the affected area 2 - 3 times per day. Stops the itch and dries it up really fast.
Try aloe vera and swimming pool, if its yours or your neighbors/familys I would ask them if they could add a little more chlorine. Good luck, hope that helped! :)
my son got it i had to take him to a dr. to get a shot and some pills. it will keep spreading if you dont but in the mean time rub the inside of a bannana peel on it its suppost to help. go to a dr. or a hospital theyll do it there the shot and perscription. good luck and dont itch it will spread.
There are some products, one called Technu, which neutralize the oils that cause the itching. You can get them at a drugstore. They're best when used before the itching starts, but they will stop the spreading.
Other possibilities: wash with strong soap and hot water. Don't take a bath when you have poison ivy or you'll spread the oil around. Only take showers -hot ones, as hot as you can stand it. The hot water draws the itch-causing histamines out of the body, and for me, it will stop the itching for a least a few hours. Cortizone cream will help with the itching, too, but I'd use it sparingly 'cause I don't think it's that good for your body. That's a drugstore thing, too.
Any cloth or clothing that you touch- don't use it again until you wash it. This includes sheets, towels and pillowcases. It's a drag to spread that oil around.
I get poison ivy REALLY BAD- that's why I know all this stuff. Hope it's helpful for you.
Yeah I am sorry to say you have to go see a doctor... He will:
A. Give you a shot in your butt that REALLY hurts...
B. He will give you some nasty pills to take, but it goes away.
or
C. Live it out, which sucks... With school starting again!
