Has anyone done the DR. Dellon surgery for diabetic neuropathy?

A disease yes, but contagious no.

Disease is a bad term to use for Anorexia or Bulimia, both are mental disorders. Meaning something is wrong with the person's thinking. More often than no the person has a distorted self image where they can look skinny, but see themselves as fat. This is a failure in the brain chemistry or in the attitude.

Mental conditions are not contagious and are rarely caused by a virus or germ. Depression, insomnia, and other mental conditions are caused by unknown reasons and are often treated with chemicals that change the level of brain hormones. They could be the symptom of something else, even a physical disease. But, conditions like anorexia is caused by an error in thinking or perception, not a germ, virus, or bacterium.

Anorexia is a mental condition/disorder, and the victim usually deems themself "fat & unattractive"- It is certainly NOT contagious. If you know someone with this condition- please educate urself. Due to lack of potassium, this may effect the heart, and lead to an untimely death. Good luck and take care!
