Am I contagious after getting the flu vaccine?
I got the flu shot yesterday. My husband has flu sytmptoms this morning. He is worried that it is from my shot.
Answer:
The answer is NO!
This is from the CDC website: The viruses in the flu shot are killed (inactivated), so you cannot get the flu from a flu shot. The risk of a flu shot causing serious harm, or death, is extremely small. However, a vaccine, like any medicine, may rarely cause serious problems, such as severe allergic reactions. Almost all people who get influenza vaccine have no serious problems from it.
Should I be concerned about my son's birthmark/mole?
yes it is a live virus. however, it usually takes a couple days for a virus to manifest from a contagious source.so...my guess is that he would have been feeling poorly whether or not you have taken the shot.
systolic pressure 260. Any circumstances under which emergency room would send patient home?
No after getting ur flu vaccine u r not contagious to others ,as the virus used in vaccines r not in active form & cant transmit the disease.
Where can I buy Tanning Alum in bulk.?
No. Your husband was obviously exposed to the flu by someone else. You can't get the flu from someone else's flu shot. The flu is an airborne virus.
No, at least that is what my doctor said!
