Is there a oral prescription to get rid of head lice?

Question:

Answers:
no but there is a topical one. Its called premetherin or something to that effect. It has to stay on head for 8 hours but gets rid of it better than OTC crap. Call your doc and ask about it. I'm not quite sure that is exactly how it is spelled but its close.
nope.. just get the RID shampoo all ya need
Not unless you are a pet. Unfortunately, it is the shampoo followed by a thourough brushing with the dreaded lice comb, or shaved heads. The herbal varieties of lice shampoo do not seem to be effective, as one of my students missed two weeks of school because her parents wouldn't use the chemical shampoo. Each egg must be brushed out, the whole house vaccuumed, and laundry/bedding washed and dried in a hot dryer.
NO...
Try the following process. It is most effective and safe...
Buy a good metal comb (licender, licemeister, terminator), a thick conditioner (pantene). Smother hair with conditioner and comb thru the hair taking thin sections at a time. A good comb out takes 2 hours. One needs at least 2-4 thorough comb outs to eliminate all lice and nits.
