Could prolonged low grade fever be a symptom of MS?

Question:
I was diagnosed with MS 8 years ago, then told the doctor was nuts. But, I have been sick for 3 months with fever, and no one can figure out what is wrong with me. Extreme fatigue. Still having issue getting out of bed in the morning, and the occasionally loss of feeling in the extremities. Thoughts?

Answers:
If you went to a neurologist and if he did an MRI or catscan of your brain that showed lesions or a lumbar puncture that was positive for MS.I would say you have MS and you should not ignore anything that comes to light. I have Myasthenia Gravis, a sister to yours, and if I am running a low grade fever, it will make me weak!! An infection can cause these diseases to flare.

If the answer is yes to the above, you need to get to your pcp and get some blood work done.

I don't want to scare you,but the numbness and fatigue make me think of Hepatitis C.This does produce a low fever also, what is known as a lowgrade fever.U have to ASK to be tested for this,as it's against the rules for them to tell you if you have it,unless you asked to be tested specifically for it.My thoughts are with you,and hope it isn't. :)
