My Hubby's health?

Question:
He is 23 and his father died of a heart attack at 35. When we first got together he ate fastfood everyday sometimes more than once in a day. It has taken me 1 1/2 years to break that habit down to once a week. I cook healthy, I keep from frying foods, and things like that. But is a well balanced meal healthy even if you have several big servings? I am 35 weeks pregnant and he eats at least twice as much as me in one sitting if not more. I have tried buying lean cuisines but he will eat 2 at a time or 1with a bunch of junk food. I think that the reason he eats so much is that he eats fast and his body doesn't feel that he is full right away. I have told him this, doesn't help. He also insistson eating right before bed. I am not trying to be controlling, I am just worried that he might turn out like his father. Does anybody have any advice on how to change his eating habits? He is very stubborn about it, and I worry so much. He also refuses to go to a doctor.

Answers:
The first question you need to answer is how big is he?

If he's a big guy (let's say over 250), he can try weight watchers. However, if he doesn't want to go or he doesn't want to change his eating habits, YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM. He's an adult and he has his life to live. Making heroic efforts to change somebody is a great way to end a relationship.

If he's a skinny guy and he eats as much as you say, he may need to see a doctor as he may have an absorption disorder, hyperthyroidism, or something else.

If he's average size (check his BMI online), then leave him be. He probably just has a fast metabolism and a healthy diet is all he needs.

thats should help

even if fast food is not stoped
might be good to slowly introduce better eating habits and maybe get him to go on walks with you on fine days. he wont even notice if you do this slowly. also do more home cooking. some great weight loss dietary ideas and exercises on this site
Zinc 20 mg per day.
Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate 200 mg

green powder supplement 1 tablespoon 2 to 3 times a day. will also provide energy.

this will normalize his hunger signals.
Tell him how much you love him and how much you don't wanna lose him. And perhaps find outwhy he eats this way. If it's because he was raised this way maybe you could go to a professional. Try going to a dietician.
Sorry, unfortunately you are pretty much powerless as far as changing someone else's habits.

I suggest buying a lot of life insurance for your husband so you can cash-in when key croaks.
