how many crunches should i do?

Question:
to get a flat tummy? i dont even want a six pack, just a flat tummy. i kinda have a pooch there, that doesnt ever go away. How many situps must I do? ps, i am eating healthy, low calorie low fat foods and drinking alot of water, and still nothing....

Answers:
Crunches won't do all the work, you must get some cardio in your exercise plan like jogging. But when you do crunches, 50-200 is good with breaks between every 20-30. I hope you succeed in your diet and don't give up!

I am working on the same thing girl and let me tell you working out helps out a ton! I work out at Bally's and my routine consists of a total of 400 crunchies everytime I work out. Sounds like alot, but do something along the lines of 150, then go run the tread mill for 15 min. then go back and do another 150, go run the tread mill once again for 10 min. and then do 100 more and finish off with stretching. I have worked out only 3 times so far and I am ALREADY seeing results . . .I'm telling you it works, but just dieting won't do anything you need to excercise as well!
i dont know how many you are currently doing...and where your pouch is...upper or lower abs? they each require a different set of them.
but you should try to do at least 5 more after you start getting the burn....
Use the FIRM's 5-minute work out. They are tops in their field! It is also beneficial to do total body workouts, and not just concentrating on your abs.
Get a workout ball. That thing is FANTASTIC!
I SIT ON THAT AND WATCH TV. DO SIT UPS WHILE COMMERCIALS ARE ON. THAT'S 2 MINUTES OF USING YOUR STOMACH MUSCLES 4X DURING A 1/2 HOUR SHOW.
TELL ME HOW LONG YOU LAST.

IT'S TOUGH~!
Maybe your drinking too much water?
Do like 40-80. I do 80 a day and i am seeing results. You only really have to do like 30 a day and after a month you'll see your tummy change.
