Yes, you mount it to the wall, you run the cable from the lower pully on the wall mount to the leg unit at the end of the bench. In theory you can do leg curls and leg extensions using the unit. But the factor there is likely to be the leg padding, as it is likely to be insufficent to properly buffer your leg against the amount of weight you need to use to tax your muscles. Obviously the bench press is self explanitory. You can also stand and do shrugs using the bench press arms. Scoot down on the bench a bit and you can do tricep extensions. If there is a way to hook a bar to where the leg cable goes you can probably do bicep curls from there. It depends on whether that came with the unit. This thing probably dates back 20 to 30 years.
