If i eat raw bacon, is there a chance i'll catch salmonella or AIDS?
Question:
Answers:
ham is raw bacon. It can have salmonella. However as far as i know Aids is an immune deffieciency syndrome not a bacteria. So unless someone who had aids bled on your bacon i think you have nothing to worry about
Other Answers:
try it and see
trichinosis or worms in laments terms.
Be more concerned with getting Trichinellosis which is caused by eating raw pork.
Never heard of a pig with AIDS to be frank . . . possibly salmonella though!
why would you get aids? aids is to do with blood not bacon
AIDS definitely.
you wont get aids from bacon
you what?
More chance of the pig biting you back!!
Remember when your wife/husband/lover is beating you because you brought home HIV, only you now can blame it on raw bacon!
what you can get is trickinosis
Samonella yes AIDS er no dummy
Plus worms and other bugs... Pork is a higher risk meat that needs cooking
You'll get trichinosis not AIDS. You should really Google AIDS and find out what it's all about.
There is a chance, but maybe not from eating the bacon, why, have you got salmonella and aids and your trying to blame it on the eating of raw bacon?
aids is very unlikely but any number of food poisonings could happen
In the US the chances of getting worms from under cooked pork is very low (as long as you are buying from your local grocery store) Salmonella however remains an issue. You can reduce your chances of getting sick by keeping the raw meat below 40 degrees (F); But honestly, the best thing to do is to cook it at least to 160 degrees (F) just to be safe. Aids is passed through blood or fluid transfer between an infected and an uninfected person I do not believe any domesticated animal is capable of contracting or transmitting the HIV virus.
salmonella possibly ....aids not a chance
what makes you think that of course not salmonella get from things that are not cooked proply aids get that from sex
worms maybe...
Salmonella yes, and that is very possible, especially if you put that in the chiller of your fridge prior to consumption. Salmonella is a kind bacteria that is very much present in your fridge due to uncleaned veggies, fish and meat stored inside and will multiply rapidly with the aid of low temperatures. Cook your foods especially if it comes from the fridge, also as an advice dont store your food in the fridge without it being wrapped in a cling plastic wrapper. AIDS from bacon is a remote happening just because theres no proof that AIDS can be gotten from hogs.
absolutely NOT aids. maybe worms or selmonella yes
AIDS, no. Salmonella, possibly. Trichinellosis, likely - this is caused by cysts found in raw pork, which are killed by heat. This is why it's very important to cook pork thoroughly.
you will catch some sort of infaction
