how can i make my rib cage smaller?

Question:
i had a baby a year ago and my stomach is getting smaller but my rib cage still pops out. is there any way to get it smaller or have it not pop out so much?

Answers:
The ribs cage cannot be "made" smaller, but there are lots of things that make it appear large. If your ribs are pulled open, they will seem larger. This can happen during pregnancy. It also happens to women who do small "pulses" when doing crunches. It increases the rib angle and pulls the ribs open. Pilates exercise will help to pull the ribs back into place and realign the spine, which should correct the problem. This can also happen as a result of pulling the shoulders backwards to try and keep the chest up.

dont eat for two months
This happened to me, too. Was the baby a boy, mine was. Unfortunately, eventually by the time I was 40 the rest of me caught up to my ribcage. Can't help you, sorry, but it is wierd. I guess it's worth it for a precious child, though, huh?
I guess you missed that episode of CSI, but try wearing a corset, that should do it.
yes...breathe out or exhale
You could wear a girdle constantly for a few months. Slowly compressing your ribs a little at a time.

Kinda like thoes women in Africa with the rings on their necks.
smerk.

lol
I have also heard of people getting ribs removed. This may help too but then you have the painful surgery.
yeah corsets are a good shot but you have to be careful of weakening your abdomen muscles cuz that can sometimes happen.
NOOOOO!! The rib cage is bone. Part of your skeleton. Cannot make bones smaller! Only fat around it. NOT BONES!
