Other Answers:
Yea, but its also good to switch things up sometimes. I'd get bored with that.

yes it matters b/c some foods have more fat content. It's reallynot just your calorie count that matters, but the nutrition of what you are eating.

Yes, it matters because you need a balanced diet. Some foods have more fat than others even if the calories are the same. Too much fat is no good just as not enough is bad too.

Depends on what you are trying to do. Gain or lose weight. Also age plays a role in this. If you are a woman and menopausal, it is hard to lose weight like when you were younger. This is my case right now.

No. The calories must come from starches, proteins and fats in 3:2:1 preferably.
Vitamins and minerals are needed as supplements

Yes, of course it does. It's all about balance and moderation. All these diet programs are crap. You just need proper balance (good nutrition etc) and moderationa dn exercise. Look to the Food Pyramid for good adice and your Mayo Clinic has some good resourse for food nutrition. who do u think will be more lean and have a healthier body the person who only eats 3000 calories of junk food or 300 calories of healthy nutrients full food the person who eats candy will gain weiht due to a th epoor diet to much sugar carbs and bad fats deep fried food= worst thing u can eat. also ur body doesnt need 1000 calories at a time try spreading ur daily caloric need to 6 meals helps ur metabolism and the food being stored as fat

AS LONG AS YOU STAY UNDER OR WITHIN YOUR LIMIT.I THINK IT WOULD BE OKAY. (DRINK LOTS OF WATER!)

Yes, it really matters what kind of food u eat! Let's say ur chicken nuggets 4 lunch that's a big no no when ur tryin 2 lose weight no fried foods.Don't eat alot of saturated fats, trans fats, carbohydrates, or alot of sugar.Drink pleny of water. If u serouisly want 2 lose weight i have the perfect diet stick 2 it exactly 4 3 days eat good 4 3 days & so on. U HAVE @ STICK 2 THE DIET EXACTLY NO SUBSTITIONS. www.3daydiet.com i used it it works

it does matter but tht doesn't mean u can't eat wat u like but u just can't have them as much and as many as u used 2 eat and if ur eating a meal that has more than 500 or so calories then it's prob not healthy u also have 2 watch fat content and sodium not just calories try goin to http://www.allure.com/makeover and following the "six weeks to sexy" it has all sorts of tips and motivation to help u I am in Weight Watchers and one thing I have learned is that, yes, it does matter.

Whether you are trying to lose weight, or just maintain your weight, or even if weight is not even an issue, every healthy body needs a balanced diet that includes fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, dairy, and whole grains, as well as proteins and healthy fats such as olive oil.

Your body uses different foods in different ways. If you are skinny and eating a diet of mainly fast foods, you may want to get your cholesterol checked. There is a recent surge in people who have high cholesterol, despite having a healthy body weight.

What you eat and whether or not you exercise is more important than how many calories you consume. You also need to pay attention to fat content, fiber content and the ingredients of foods you eat. A lot of so-called "health foods" contain ingredients such as partially hydrogenated oils which can lead to clogging of the arteries.

There is nothing wrong with eating chicken nuggets or a cheeseburger, as long as you are putting the main emphasis on making sure your body gets everything it needs, and not just focusing on calorie content.

Always remember two things:

1 - The closer a food is to it's raw/natural state, the better it is for your body.
2 - The more foods you eat that are naturally low in fat and calories (fruits and veggies, lowfat meats and dairy) the more you can eat! you will lose weight but it is not good for you, not the most effecient way to lose the weight.
