To lose that kind of weight in that short a time, especially at your age would be pretty dangerous. I would suggest if you want to lose weight even if it takes longer you should exercise more, and if you eat a lot of junk food try to substitute it with fruit and veggies, or really anything thats lower calorie. I'm sure this is not what you wanted to hear, but a lot of fad diets don't really work or are really unhealthy, if you want to lose weight and keep it off its best to take a pound or two off a week. I've lost 30 pounds since the winter just by watching what I eat more and exercising for 30 minutes every other day.

I'm trying to lose a little weight before school starts too...I've been running up and down stairs and doing crunches. I eat smaller portions and am eating more vegetables. I cut out all junk food and try not to use extra salt (it makes you retain water). Whatever you do, please don't starve yourself-it's not healthy and you'll only gain the weight back once you start eating again. For a quick fix, wear slimming clothes. Don't wear anything skin tight, but don't try to hide in oversized clothes-they make you look bigger.
Exercise and eat healthy. But you're body is still growing so don't over to things, especially during the physical body's phases of the moon.
No offense but 10-15lbs in 3 weeks is practically unheard of. 2lbs a week is a pretty good (and slightly ambitious) goal but 5lbs a week is too much and would be VERY unhealthy for someone going through puberty.
Because you are an adolescent I would highly recommend that you not do any extreme dieting. With that said, try finding out your maintenance calorie level and reducing it by ~15-20% and see how that treats you. If you're a female then your maintenance calories are probably pretty low and thus it would take you a while to lose the weight... but it's better than being unhappy with your physique ain't it?
It is not safe to lose that much weight in such a small amount of time however you can get a pretty good start by exercising about 20 minutes a day and counting calories not going under 1200!!! If you go under 1200 then you WILL NOT LOSE

honestly,... you waited too long, it'll be about a month before school starts, don't go on any crash diets - sweetie.
Do you have a bicycle? try ridding long distances, pretend you're touring the country side of Paris or something. You will get the cario as well as working you legs and abs. Burning your surplus calories and raising your metabolism so you'll tone up and burn fatties.

Well the fastest way to do that is to eat these things, nothing else...
whole wheat
bell peppers
grapes
strawberries
blueberries
milk
vegetables...
chicken or fish
I saw it in a magazine, and tried it, and it worked! You also have to do some type of exercise, even if it's just power walking in place for 20-30 minutes. I do exercises off of Comcast On Demand everyday, it helps you tone up and tighten everything. Good luck! ( this helped me lose 10 pounds in the past 3 weeks)
don't starve yourself! when you do ,your body slows down and any food you do eat, your body will hold all the fat because it cant tell the difference between you starving to squeeze into a size 2 or if your trapped on a island. also dieting now will not make you loose 15 pounds before school starts, losing more than 2 pound a week means your losing muscle, and you don't want that.
PS. learn to love your body now, you'll be surprised how great it is to eat something and not think about how your going to run it off.
