Has anyone eaten only fruits and veggies as a way to drop pounds fast?


Question:
I know this isnt the healthy way to go about losing weight, but i need to drop one size for a reunion i have coming up and want to know if anyone has tried this way of eating. BEFORE you answer this question, know this, i exercise regualrly, eat healthy and am in good health, im only doing this so i can be one size smaller. So please dont tell me how this will mess up my metabolism and how im making a mistake. I ONLY WANT TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THIS OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS .Can u tell me what results they had? Sorry for the caps but ive seen on here where people just want to preach to you or critize you and i dont want either one of those. I just want to know what results people have had with this and how long they did it for?

I did that a couple years ago, but I didn't know much about healthy dieting and weightloss then. I didnt eat enough calories a day for how much I was burning and I ended up really sick. I think for a few days that would be an okay idea, but I wouldnt do it for any longer than 3 days. Possibly include one serving of meat a day to help balance things out? (FYI one serving of steak is about the size of a deck of cards)

yeah it will work i did it for 45 days and did well it was when i stopped that i had a problem my body did not tolerate meat
I tried a diet that was sort of like that.
I did eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, but I also ate a lof of fish, chicken, and meats. (not fried. and if fried, not in oil) and only one slice of bread a day. I did not eat any sugar (substitutes for the coffee) or more carbs than that slice of bread.

this worked well for me, as I dropped 10 pounds in 2 weeks.

Actually this is not unhealthy. See site below. Many eat a raw vegan diet permanently and can't get overweight (fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted beans). Also a page on fasting for fastest weight loss and this is healthy with quotes from 8 MDs. See "natural healing" on healingsfrom this diet.

Also learn way to lose water retention. Plus a way to lose 5 to 20 pounds in an hour to flatten stomach-- used by models. Not bodyfat or water retention but something worse for health.
i was fasting, eating only fruits & veggies & i lost 10 pounds in 2 wks. no exercise involved, but i wasn't trying to lose weight.
