It's been awhile, but I don't think most 18 years olds think only size 0's look good. If I recall, as long as she didn't have horns and a tail, she was a subject of interest. Wait, that's still the case.

IT is the image that the world (models, actresses, photoshopped mags) portray as Hott or whatev. It makes me mad though cuz not everyone is a size 0, and guys shouldn't be like that. They put a lot of pressure ob us to be that way. It is so messed up. Sorry but I think the size 0 girls look sickly. I'm almost 19, and I'm the same size (8-10) and I LOVE it. I'm not sick looking, nor am I obese. Not to mention that beauty comes within. Those men are just shallow. Reassure her that somewhere, someone will notice her inner-beauty as soon as they see her, and that's all that counts!
You should be glad that she confides in you, and respects your opinion. First kids (as we know) can be brutal, and this "boy" is just that.
