Answers:
You have to change your diet to be the healthiest it can possibly be, and work out at your maximum intensity level - which I think would be 80% of your maximum heart rate .

After about working out like this for 4 weeks, take a one/one and a half week break while still maintaining the healthy diet. During this break your body should get shocked enough to reduce not all of the flab, but some of the flab. it should be enough for you to see a better improvement.

After the break is over, go back to your regular work out and diet regimen. In about two to three months repeat the change in diet again and start working out at maxi um intensity level. Take the one week break to shock your body again.

You want to avoid plateauing during all of this. If you cardio becomes too easy, then change machines, or increase the difficulty level. And make sure your doing core exercises that especially target your inner core or hidden muscles behind the abs. If you work on the hidden muscles they help enhance your abs while giving your an increase in strength and balance.

Also for your abs, a really really good workout to get them noticeable would be planks and all the different variations of planks.

Pilates and yoga

join aerobics class, do it 2 hours, 2-3 times a week for at least 6 months. I used to have similar problem, and after 6 months of hard work, aerobics, plus swimming, treadmill/jogging, etc. got satisfactory result. do not over do it. stop if you body feels too tired. cause if you force it too much, you get hurt and recovery takes long time (sometime). that is just the way you are.

show patients. if you want a good body, just show patients

diet cutting fats, join a gym with a trainer that can help you build up he specific parts that you want, and see a doctor or a nutritionist if you feel like things are wrong

It sounds like you know how to develop your upper body, but it might help to have a more balanced plan. For instance, you could probably work more on your lower body - both stretches and bike (throw in some squats). And you might try to lengthen those muscles in the upper body. It's a tough question. Try to figure out what a male dancer does for a workout or a male figure skater (who does a lot of lifting) and copy that plan. It would not be the same as a hockey player.
